The largest part of the fuel oil tanker semi trailer is the oil tank body, the frame is the second, the fuel tanker attachment is an important part of the oil tank itself. Its settings can be divided into four types according to their functions:

1. Ensure the completion of oil delivery, storage operations, convenient for production, management.

2. Ensure the safety of the oil tank, prevent and eliminate all kinds of oil tank accidents.

3. Favorable tank cleaning and maintenance.

4. Can reduce the loss of oil evaporation.

In addition to some general accessories, the oil tank contains oil of different properties and is used for oil tanks of different structure types. It should also be equipped with accessories with special performance to meet the special needs of safety and production.

The following general tank accessories are usually installed on various oil tanks.

1. Escalators and railings

The escalator is specially designed for the operator to check the scale, temperature, sampling and patrol inspection. It has straight ladder and spiral ladder. Generally speaking, small tanks with straight ladder, large tanks with spiral ladder.

2. Manhole

Manhole is set up for the operator in and out of the tank to clean and maintenance tank. Generally vertical fuel tankers, manholes are installed on the bottom ring plate of the tank wall, and opposite to the lighting holes on the top of the tank. The diameter of the manhole is mostly 600mm, and the center of the hole is 750 mm from the bottom of the tank. Usually the oil tank below 3000 cubic meters shall have one manhole, the oil tank between 3000 and 5000 cubic meters shall have one to two manholes, and the oil tank above 5000 cubic meters shall have two manholes.

3. light transmission hole

Light hole is for cleaning or maintenance of oil tank lighting and ventilation set. It is usually arranged on the top of the tank above the inlet and outlet tubing, the diameter is generally 500mm, the outer edge is 800~1000mm away from the tank wall, and the number of settings is the same as the manhole.

4. Measuring oil hole

The oil measuring hole is designed for measuring ruler, temperature and sampling, and is installed near the tank top platform. Each tank is equipped with only one gage hole, which is 150mm in diameter and usually 1m away from the tank wall.

5. Dehydration tube

Dehydration pipe is also known as the discharge pipe, it is specially designed to remove water impurities in the tank and remove the tank bottom dirty oil residue. The drain pipe is equipped with a valve on the outer side of the tank. In order to prevent the dehydration valve from being lax or damaged, two valves are usually installed. Winter should also do a good job of dehydration valve insulation, in order to prevent freezing or cracking of the valve.

6. Fire foam room

Fire foam chamber, also known as foam generator, is a fire extinguishing device fixed on the oil tank. One end of the foam generator is connected with the foam pipeline, and the other end is welded to the top ring plate of the tank wall with a flange. When the fire extinguishing foam flows through the air suction entrance of the fire extinguishing foam chamber, a large amount of air is inhaled to form foam, and the foam breaks through the isolation glass and enters the tank (the glass thickness is no more than 2mm), so as to achieve the purpose of fire extinguishing.

7. Ground wire

The grounding wire is the device to eliminate static electricity in the tank.
